Stay Hydrated With These 4 Coconut Water Mocktails

You’ve probably seen a row of coconut water bottles sitting on a shelf in the supermarket and you’ve casually passed them because what are you going to use it for right? Technically this is just a fancier more refined version of madafu but just like madafu its filled with electrolytes that will keep you healthy and hydrated. If you want to turn any of these into a cocktail, just add a shot of Absolut Vanilla or whatever your liquor is.

 

Coconut Raspberry Mocktail

We’re all about staying hydrated and what better way to do it than to substitute regular water or sugar juice for natural coconut water? Coconut water is great to add to drinks because its all the sweetness and none of the calories (alright, there are calories but not enough to throw off your diet!)  Lime and mint, of course, add a little citrus and freshness to the drink. Go ahead and try this non-alcoholic version of a mojito this weekend!

Coconut Water Lemonade

You can’t go wrong with a tall glass of lemonade. It’s one way to get some vitamin C in your body (and with the flu running around we all need some vitamin C) plus coconut water is full of potassium which can help offset your sodium intake (yes we see you adding extra salt to your food!). A glass of this lemonade should keep you hydrated and healthy!

Ginger Coconut Mocktail

This is a delicious twist on the usual dawa. Mixing coconut water and ginger is a great way to make sure you stay hydrated and get all the benefits of these two superfoods! For an extra kick, add in ground black pepper or chilli!
