Tamarind Group To Open New Hotel In Nairobi

The Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi will soon be home to a brand new hotel by The Tamarind Group. The hotel, named The Tamarind Tree Hotel, will be opened during the second half of 2016 and will be a modern concept hotel with an African flavor providing all the needs of business and leisure travelers.

Set to have 162 rooms, the hotel will offer the amenities of a modern hotel including free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, conferencing facilities, restaurants, bars as well as a 24 hour grab and go food shop. There will also be a fully equipped gym and heated lap pool where guests can keep up with their fitness routines during their visit. Guests will also be able to sample from Carnivore Restaurant which will be accessible through a short nature trail from the hotel.

The group also owns various establishments including: Tamarind Karen Blixen, Carnivore Restaurant, Tamambo Village Market, Tamarind Mombasa and Tamarind Dhow, Mombasa among others.
