The Lord Erroll Restaurant Scoops an Overwhelming 9 Awards at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2018

The premier French and gourmet restaurant, The Lord Erroll has once again placed Kenya on the global map after winning 9 Awards in the recently concluded World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2018 held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the Galgorm Resort and Spa on July 14th 2018.

Not so long ago, The Lord Erroll Restaurant was crowned 2017’s Global Restaurant of the Year placing it as a global destination for intermediate travellers and food concierge alike. This year’s competition saw more than 1000 entries from 140 countries around the world competing for the prestigious awards in 100 categories.

“We are very excited by the recognition and we feel highly honoured by the World Luxury Restaurants Awards. The awards are setting benchmarks for quality, attention to detail, innovation and consistency. They also set the spotlight on what one can do once determined to achieve a certain goal,” said Felix Matheka, Lord Erroll Operations Manager.

Interior design, good quality food and excellent service are the criteria used to nominate restaurants.The restaurant’s delightful array of alfresco seating areas that overlook their lush garden combined with their creatively crafted French classics menu cemented Lord Erroll’s win.

  3. Best luxury scenic setting – Africa
  4. Best luxury family restaurant – Africa

  7. Most luxurious ambiance – East Africa
  8. Best food styling and presentation in the region – East Africa
  9. Best luxury interior design architecture – Kenya
