Who doesn’t love a new restaurant? Staring at the deco, browsing the menu, uploading pictures that make everyone who sees them hungry and being the first to recommend it to your friends are just some of the perks. We’re here to let you know the top 5 spots you should be popping up in so that you’re ahead of the hype.

Inti Nikkei

Inti Nikkei is the new Japanese- Peruvian fusion fine-dining spot, located at at the 21st floor at One African Place, Westlands. The restaurant is already gaining a reputation for having amazing sushi and desserts. With an amazing view of Nairobi, Inti is the perfect spot for your date night or your new cocktail spot.

If you want to go, it’s best to make a reservation.

BBQ Kitchen

We have another addition to the Karen restaurant scene. This simple restaurant located along Ngong Road right next to the Karen Auto Mart. Don’t let the simple deco fool you, the food is filling, freshly made and affordable. As an added bonus they are Halal! Try their mishkaki, grilled chicken and chicken curry. You won’t be disappointed.

Blue Door

This spot is about to be the new spot to hang out at in Westlands. It is spacious, well lit and the service is impeccable. The owners of Blue Door have found a way to put in the bost of best worlds with a dedicated Beer Garden serving up the best of Kenyan craft beers, craft cocktails and tasty mocktails for the teetotalers who love good music. Between the food and the drinks, we’re not sure which we love more but we do know they will both keep us coming back for more.

Honey & Dough

Pastels and pasta is what we think of when we hear the words Honey & Dough. Bathed in the warm Nairobi sun, this restaurant is relaxed chic come to life. Try not to whip out your phone and take pictures of the gorgeous deco as you’re served up quality meals from their excellent chef.

Mugg & Bean

Mugg & Bean have graced the residents of Westlands and the surrounding area with their presence! Their savoury meals and expertly brewed coffee is now that much closer to you. They have taken up residence in the new wing of Sarit Centre, conveniently located right next to the new Carrefour. So take a break after shopping and enjoy all the meals they have to offer as your kids explore their dedicated play area.

The Shack Nairobi

We finally have another food truck in Nairobi and it has parked itself in the lovely suburbs of Karen. In between mouthfuls of their delicious burgers you’ll be able to enjoy the fresh outdoor air and music that lends to the casual ambience of the place. The open space means that there is plenty of room for your kids to run around once they are done eating.
