‘It has been said, that a beer drank alone is a beer wasted. To drink with friends, though a short time of happiness, is happiness none the less’
In our second lecture, we demystify Budweiser and put it to the ultimate test. The taste of the tongue. To do so was a thrilling adventure that unravelled from when we got the 6 pack, to the opening and ultimately – the drinking.
I don’t want to brag. I wouldn’t want to get shut down like Kanye was by President Obama. Either way, I’m hoping that we are some of the first people to try Budweiser before its anticipated launch. I feel like I should say him instead of it. Budweiser already feels like one of the homies!
We were skeptical at first with our many doubts and questions but the minute Dan and I laid our hands on the ice cold Buds, it was like love at first beer. Presentation is key. I liked the bottle for one simple thing. The twist cap. No more having to look for bottle openers or cracking your teeth trying to get your beer open when you have a Budweiser. So you get to look like you’re super strong in front of those who haven’t got a clue (especially the ladies lol). If you some how find the need to put your Bud down, all you have to do is put the cap back on. It’s the simple things that make a difference.
Bottles opened, the moment of truth had arrived, (queue the dramatic music). We were finally taking the first sip and we hoped that we wouldn’t get disappointed at the first taste. As a matter of fact, we were taken aback. It was smooth and easy to swallow. You could chug the whole thing and you wouldn’t have that nasty gas filling up in your stomach. The taste was pretty great too! So all you ladies who don’t like beer because of the taste have no excuse to not try a Budweiser.
You can clearly see by my face how much I have fallen for Budweiser. I could eat the bottle! I joke. Truth be told, I was impressed. Dan aka Captain Bud had his shot as well.
He even gave it a thumbs up! Captain Bud approves of this as you can see. We enjoyed it. Plain and simple. But since beer is a personal thing and everyone has their own tastes, this weeks assignment will see you sampling Budweiser once it is available and writing back your experience.
Take the plunge and have a Budweiser!
Class is dismissed. We hope you enjoy your Bud!
