A great beer, great food and great company, is what you can expect at ‘The White Cap Big Brunch’ taking place at some of Nairobi’s top brunch restaurants on the weekend of the 30th & 31st of March, courtesy of Kenya Breweries Limited and EatOut.

Kenya Breweries Limited through White Cap Lager has partnered with EatOut Kenya to give Kenyan a taste of Big Brunch Experience for the second year.

The partnership will give White Cap Lager consumers and foodies a chance to enjoy tasty brunch meals prepared by top chefs in the country.

The Big Brunch Launch in Diani

Speaking at the launch of The Big Brunch Experience in Diani, KBL Managing Director Jane Karuku said the collaboration between White Cap Lager and EatOut Kenya will deliver an ultimate distinct taste experience.

“We are excited to announce a partnership between KBL and EatOut Kenya, which explores and celebrates a new age where the worlds of food and drink come closer together than ever before,” Ms Karuku said.

She explained that “I’ve increasingly observed the culture of brunch grow in Nairobi, while at the same time people demanding for more from their food and drink. They want to know what their ingredients are and where they have come from. They want to know how their food and drink has been prepared, learn how to do it at home and overall, be offered a more immersive experience.”

Commenting at the event, Emerging Beers Marketing Manager, Alice Owambo said, “This partnership, which will run for a year to food and drink aficionados’ experiences like never before, all in the same venue, and we’re excited to put White Cap Lager at the very centre of it. We’re thrilled to work with EatOut Kenya and bring these exciting experiences to millions of food & drink lovers across the world.”

The Big Brunch Diani follows a similar consumer engagement last year in Nanyuki and saw over 30 participating restaurants. This year, the Big Brunch brings together over 40 restaurants drawn from Nairobi and Coastal region.

EatOut Kenya CEO Mr Mikul Shah speaking during the Big Brunch Launch in Diani

On his part, EatOut Kenya CEO Mr Mikul Shah said the partnership is all about inspiring restaurants in Kenya to creatively showcase classic daytime menus as well as signature drink options inspired by the scenic Kenyan views. “We are noticing a rising trend from restaurants who have largely embraced the trend, using Brunch as a way to add on service hours ahead of dinner or bridge the gap to offset lulls,” added Mikul.

Like before, participating restaurants will offer brunch lovers complimentary White Cap Lager, enticing brunch menus and beer offers throughout the campaign. In addition, participating restaurants will feature beer cocktails during brunch at different venues across the country.
