The world famous Dominos Pizza has finally landed in Kenya (along with sister brand Cold Stone Creamery), and we here at Yummy were one of the first to sample their pizzas. Dominos at Fortis Towers in Westlands officially opens it’s doors this weekend (Saturday the 8th of November 2014) and you should be there. At an exclusive walk-in interview at the westlands branch ahead of the grand opening, the Dominos team ran us through the entire pizza creation process from “order” to “box”. It takes 10 minutes from the time the order leaves your lips to the time a pizza slice should be in your mouth. However, for deliveries the world famous Dominos 30 minute delivery rule is in effect.
I remember the first time I ever had Domino’s pizza was in Madrid, Spain on a late night and after the first bite of their meaty EXTRAVAGANZZA pizza I was ready to pack my bags, change my name to Alejandro and relocate to Spain. It was that good. I am not being dramatic. So you can imagine how eager and anxious I am for Saturday’s grand opening. I am dragging my entire family tree there come Saturday. Do join us! On a scale of 1 to ‘Excited’, we are VERY VERY excited that they are finally here. Can I get an AMEN!
Infact by the time our boss got in the office there was no ‘hot stuff’ inside! I guess he will also have to head over to the official launch on Saturday.

Fastfood restaurants have been all the rage in 2014. Last month we finally saw Naked Pizza’s food truck on the roads, Big Square is due to open it’s 4th store at the Oval Mall adding to it’s current locations in Karen, Gigiri & Lavington. We are also aware that Steers will be re-launching it’s flagship branch on Kenyatta avenue very soon. As always we’ll keep you posted. For now check out the photos below.
