If you are a fan of our EatOut Facebook Page, then we’re sure you saw the exciting posts of some of our team members with renown Romanian producer and DJ Edward Maya. His first experience in Kenya was with key media personalities at a small press conference held at the Sankara Hotel on a chilly Friday morning. Quite successful to say the least.
However, that was not only the highlight of the day. EatOut, with the help of the Limelight management team, Chukua Bargain and Kiran Jethwa, proprietor of the Seven Seafood restaurant chain, organized an exclusive dinner at the Seven Grill and Lounge at Village Market. This was an opportunity for the team to interact with Edward Maya on a one on one base as well as give the star an opportunity to sample what the one of finest restaurants in town had to offer.
To make it even more interesting, EatOut gave the public this once in a lifetime opportunity to wine and dine with the popular DJ through a Facebook drive that lasted about three days. One fortunate winner, Peter, was chosen to join the team and have world class dinner for absolutely free.
And speaking of food, Kiran Jethwa wowed Edward Maya and his entourage by preparing a special set menu, which included ox tongue, calamari and chicken kiev among many other sumptuous selections.
Although Edward was a little exhausted from his journey here and showed a few hours late to the dinner, the delicious meal and fan spirit made the night a great success.
Afterwards, the VIP guests (Edward Maya and team) were treated to an invite-only cocktail party with a guest-list of about 100 people at Seven Grill’s Champagne Lounge. Here, special signature cocktails were prepared for the suave crowd as DJ Mobi wooed them the only way he knew how.
Edward Maya interacted with his fans crowning the lovely night and of course building some worthy anticipation to his concert at the Ngon’g Race Course on Saturday 31st.
